My Unsolicited Thoughts: Catfish

23 Jul

This remains one of my favorite movies.

For some, it may seem shallow to hear about someone falling in love with a person virtually. But it does happen.

But when this happens, and one is left at the end of it all (like the man in this movie—Nev) with a fictional character and nothing but lies, I believe it damages the person beyond any words can ever paint.

The time spent, the love and trust given, it all becomes what it really just was anyway, lies.

You’ll see how painful it was for Nev to realize that the love he had given unconditionally was all for nothing and that he was deceived.

This movie captures that emotional roller coaster.

“Hi! This is Nev.”

The line I bet he wish he never said to that woman. Adding on FB. Exchanging messages. Falling. Experiences that he, I’m assuming, hopes he never had with this fictional character.

Anyway, it’s definitely a movie people should watch.

Yikes indeed hun! You should watch it…it’s really something that leaves you being more cautious and scared of the danger that’s out there online.

Hope you’ll like it as much as I do. 🙂
